Service Description
Melissa is a 1991 graduate of Bethany High School and holds a BS of Science in Psychology from Colorado Christian University and is currently working towards her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has been involved in counseling and discipleship for more than 10 years as a pastor’s wife and has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. There are a variety of areas that she has experience with including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life-transitions, and self-esteem. Her approach is grounded in establishing a therapeutic relationship with her client. She believes that each client is unique and that success in therapy is centered around the counselor client relationship. Melissa’s desire is to walk alongside her clients as they search for meaning, hope and joy that gets overshadowed by life’s difficult times. Throughout the process she strives to maintain a genuine and authentic connection with her clients.
